Kevin Davitt\u00a0 |\u00a0 Owner of HSW<\/h3>\n

Kevin was born and raised in Victoria, Texas.\u00a0 He met his wife Leah when they were both teenagers.\u00a0 Kevin started working for Homer Blake in March of 2000 right after he proposed to his daughter.\u00a0 Kevin and Leah married in April of 2001.<\/p>\n

Kevin continued to learn more about the industry of water filtration and was able to take on more responsibilities in the company.\u00a0\u00a0 In 2005 Kevin was the primary sales rep for the company.\u00a0 In 2009 he started managing the company.\u00a0\u00a0 In 2016, Kevin had the opportunity to purchase the company from His Father-in-law.<\/p>\n

Kevin currently holds a TCEQ Class III Water Treatment Specialist License, and he regularly attends seminars learning new treatment methods and also understanding how and why the water quality is changing.\u00a0\u00a0 Kevin is still doing all of the initial sales calls and consultations because it is his favorite part of his job, getting to meet people and figuring out what they need to get their problems fixed.\u00a0\u00a0 His approach is just how Homer did it, very laid back, non-pushy, and focuses on education and explanations of the treatments rather than a hard sell style.<\/p>\n

Kevin and Leah have two kids, Jaxson and Carli. \u00a0When Kevin is not working he enjoys being with his family, playing with his son and daughter, and taking family trips.\u00a0 Kevin loves history, including researching world history and pre civil war era American history.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0He also loves his New York Yankees and New York Giants.<\/p>\n

James Moore | General Manager<\/h3>\n

James Moore is the other of the two sons-in-law who continues on in the family business originally founded by Homer Blake, their father-in-law.\u00a0 James has been involved in the water filtration and treatment industry since 1996, and currently holds a TCEQ Class III Water Treatment Specialist License and a TCEQ Class D Water Operator License.\u00a0 During his time in the industry, he has had the opportunity to install and service both residential and commercial filtration equipment, as well as specialized disinfection equipment such as Chlorinators and UV Systems.<\/p>\n

As a husband and a father of one son, during his days off he enjoys to spend time outdoors with his family.\u00a0 An avid bird watcher and traveler, James seeks any opportunity he can to get away and enjoy all that nature offers including the State and National Parks.\u00a0 One of his mottos is: \u201cSometimes the best therapy is to just get in the car, and take a road trip with no specific place in mind and enjoy the simple things in life\u201d.<\/p>\n

If you happen to call HSW concerning a technical issue, it is very probable James will be one of those with whom you speak.\u00a0 As with the rest of the company, if he doesn\u2019t know the answer, he will acknowledge it and get back with you once he does.<\/p>\n

Amie Michalec<\/strong>\u00a0 |\u00a0 Office Manager<\/h3>\n

Amie has been with Homer\u2019s Soft Water since August 2011.\u00a0 She brought with her a broad range of office and customer relations experience.\u00a0 Amie has a great eye for detail, and her love for our customers and giving them the best service possible really shines through!<\/p>\n

When not working at HSW, Amie spends her time with her teenage daughter and their pets \u2013 3 cats and 2 bettas.\u00a0 When it is time to relax, she loves being in the hill country or anywhere near the water, especially where the rivers are lined with cypress trees!<\/p>\n

Feli Ramirez | Lead Technician<\/h3>\n

Feli joined HSW in early 2014.\u00a0\u00a0 Feli does a lot of the heavy lifting for HSW, literally.\u00a0\u00a0 He handles the salt and service routes and assists on installs and service work.\u00a0 We keep him very busy!\u00a0\u00a0 He currently has a TCEQ Class I Water Treatment Specialist License, and is working towards getting his class III license soon.<\/p>\n

Feli and his wife Valerie have a daughter.\u00a0 We love having them as part of our HSW family<\/p>\n
